Competition Opens for Entries March 1
[UPDATE (3/1/11): Please check the “About the Awards” and “Awards Categories” pages (under the “Sunshine State Awards” tab) for everything you need to know to enter the 2011 Sunshine State Awards or 2011 FCPA Awards contests!]
Are you ready for the 2011 Sunshine State Awards?
If so, be sure to check back right here on Tuesday, March 1, for a link to our brand-spanking-new Sunshine State Awards website and full submission details.
If not, here’s what you need to know to start preparing your entries while we put the finishing touches on the site:
New this year: All submissions must be made through the website, so hard copies won’t be accepted — and you won’t have to pay to ship your clips. If you plan to submit newspaper entries, make sure they’re PDF, TXT, DOC, JPG, PNG or GIF files. To submit web, video or audio entries, make sure you have a URL to a location where your entry content is hosted (either on your organization’s website or on a free site such as YouTube, Vimeo, Picasa, Issuu, etc.).
Just like last year: For SPJ members, your first entry is free. After that, each entry costs $28. Non-members must pay the $28 entry fee for every submission — unless they become members before submitting.
