Join Us: Fake News Game Show March 30 in Fort Lauderdale

Think you can spot fake news? Join us for our first Fake News Game Show on March 30 at Undergrounds Coffeehaus in Fort Lauderdale.

This trivia-style game show will test your knowledge. See if you can tell the difference between real and fake stories.

Teams of 2-4 people can register from 6:30-7 p.m. and the games will begin at 7. Think of a cool name now! That’s how we’ll be keeping track of who is winning. Remember that there is no Googling — we’ll have moderators making sure there isn’t any cheating.

BCSS_Angela-DuckworthIf you’re a fake news truther, your team could win two tickets to see Angela Duckworth at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, plus more prizes for participants, including pocket-sized U.S. Constitutions!

This event is for journalists and non-journalists alike. It’s free and open to the public. Plus, free tater tots for all — custom-made from Undergrounds Coffeehaus! Be sure to order your favorite specialty latte or tea drink to celebrate the night.

RSVP on Facebook and be sure to tell a friend.
