Holiday Fundraiser for Women’s Shelter

The Association for Women in Communications South Florida Chapter (AWC), in partnership with the Miami-Dade County Commission for Women (CFW), will hold a holiday fundraiser social to benefit The Lodge, a shelter for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. The fundraiser will be held at Brosia Restaurant in Miami on December 18th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with a cover charge of $10 for members of the AWC and CFW and $20 for nonmembers.

The fundraiser social will feature complimentary sangria and appetizers, a prize raffle, a silent auction, and cosmetics and skincare giveaways.  All proceeds will go to The Lodge, helping the organization continue to provide counseling and shelter to domestic and sexual violence victims in Miami-Dade County.  For more information, to sponsor this event, or to donate prizes or gift bag items, contact info@awcsouthflorida.org.
