President’s Awards

As venerable as our Sunshine State and Green Eyeshades awards are, the Society for Professional Journalism occasionally feels compelled to recognize individuals and organizations.

When that happens, we bestow them with a President’s Award. Sometimes, this is as simple as issuing a statement and a certificate. Other times, it’s much more involved.

In 2024, SPJ leaders have decided to reward two unique categories of journalism: homeless and prison journalism. Check back for updates.
