Pulitzer Prize Winner Lane DeGregory to Speak at Miami-Dade College

Miami-Dade College’s Journalism Speaker Series continues November 20th at the Wolfson Campus. The featured speaker will be Pulitzer prize-winning features writer, Lane DeGregory. DeGregory of the St. Petersburg Times won the prize in 2009 for her series “The Girl in the Window.” The Pulitzer committee called her story “a moving, richly detailed story of a neglected little girl, found in a roach-infested room, unable to talk or feed herself, who was adopted by a new family committed to her nurturing.”

DeGregory will appear at Miami-Dade College November 20th at noon in Room 7128 at the Wolfson Campus, 300 N.E. Second Avenue.
