The 2014 Sunshine State Awards presentation event, sponsored by SPJ Florida Chapter and National Association of Hispanic Journalists Miami Chapter, is scheduled for Saturday evening, August 16, at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden.

If you are a finalist—and even if you are not—you will enjoy this evening celebrating excellence in Florida journalism.

The evening begins at 7 p.m. with an open bar sponsored by Bacardi, light bites and networking on the terrace, followed at 8 p.m. by a seated awards presentation indoors. Afterwards, the restaurants, bars and shops of Lincoln Road are just a few steps away.

The cost will be $30 for members, $35 for non-members. Preferred attire is cocktail casual.
